The Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust celebrated their 15 year anniversary in June with a beautiful party at their Fremont Community Garden. It was a wonderful chance to honor the LANLT staff and those who have sponsored and supported their work throughout the years. It was also an opportunity for everyone to see how much growth and progress has occurred in the garden over the past year, including the completion of the new state-of-the-art greenhouse.
It's always a pleasure working with The Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust. Their commitment to improving the quality of life in underserved neighborhoods of Los Angeles by creating urban parks and community gardens is truly inspiring. The 2017 Park Equity Summit was a fantastic day of speakers and panel discussions focused on providing park access to all communities throughout Los Angeles.
